Neil Magruder Scholarship Trust

The Neil Magruder Scholarship Trust was organized in 1986 in honor of Neil Magruder.

Neil Magruder was a charter member of our organization and served us faithfully for many years until his retirement. Until the time of his death in December of 1989 he continued to be interested in seeing accounting in Mississippi raised to a level of highest respect among all professions through the Mississippi Association of Public Accountants.

Neil Magruder is the only person from Mississippi who has ever served as President of the National Society of Public Accountants. This was in 1959-1960.

A college junior or senior will be presented with a scholarship in December at our Gear Up Tax Seminar. When you make a donation you will know that you have had a part in helping a deserving student as well as publicizing the generosity of our organization. Any contribution may be sent to:
