Our  purpose is  to promote and maintain higher professional and ethical standards, to safeguard and foster member interest in the profession of accountancy, to develop and improve accountancy education, to correct abuses within the profession, to compile and distribute information to the members for their benefit and to monitor any legislation that may impact accountants, to promote harmony and fellowship among practicing public accountants in the State of Mississippi and to maintain honorable relations between the accounting profession and the general public.
